System Availability Monitor (Server Availability Monitor)

The basic availability of a server is the basic requirement for its practical application. This logic statement also means in reverse that a system failure needs to be identified and reported as quickly as possible. Every single minute in which a server cannot be used can lead to loss of cash and cause major incisions in day-to-day business.

Simple solution with great effect  

Impulsus isymon®  checks the availability of your servers by vertical redundancy checking. This means that a server can monitor other servers while being monitored itself by several other servers (cross-checks).  

The basic principle of the monitoring is - in contrast to many other solutions  - not only a “PING” to the other system but an isymon’s own protocol.  

Available in all editions  

The System Availability Monitor is included as a standard feature in all isymon® editions.  

Quick and easy configuration  

The System Availability Monitor is very easy to handle. Simply add the  computer to be monitored by pressing the “Add” button. Done.  

If required, you can also specify further settings for Port or “Suppress Notifications.“ However, this will be necessary only in very few cases.
