Windows Services Monitor

On computers which run under MS Windows™ many tasks are completed by services whose statuses become less transparent compared to “normal” applications. The failure or the accidental installation of a service on a server can cause severe problems.

Standard settings predefined  

All Impulsus isymon® editions which include the Services Monitor are provided with an “isymon standard“ configuration which contains predefined standard settings for the Services Monitor. This minimizes the configuration efforts in standard environments.  

Service failure  

Impulsus isymon® is able to detect a service failure. If a service was once active and became inactive at a certain point of time, the software can detect  and report it.  

Deinstallation or installation of a service  

Impulsus isymon® is able to monitor the list of services installed on a system. If a new service is added or an existing service deleted, the software can detect and report it.  

Changing the start-up type of a service  

Impulsus isymon® is able to monitor the services installed on a system in regard to the preset start-up type (automatic, manual, deactivated). If the setting of a service changes, the software can detect and report it.  

Manual start of a service  

Impulsus isymon® is able to detect the manual start of a service. If a service was once inactive and becomes activated, the software can detect and report it.
